CompTIA Network+ Certification All-in-One Exam Guide, 5th Edition (Exam N10-005) by Mike Meyers
Link: http://amzn.com/0071789227
Recommendation: Highly
This book is a little too broad, but will provide all you need to pass. I did like the practice exams on the CD included with the book.
PluralSight Network+ Course by Ed Liberman
Link: http://www.pluralsight.com/author/ed-liberman
Recommendation: Good, above average
I really liked this course and the authors instruction. Each subject is concise, and there are no long, drawn, out stories or distractions I’ve seen in other videos by other providers.
Professor Messer’s Network+ Study Notes by James Messer
Link:http://www.professormesser.com/n10-006-course-notes/
Recommendation: Above average
The notes are good (quite a few pages), and are sufficient. Great for building your own notes though and I am very appreciative Professor Messer offers the courses online for free.
Takeaways
First, this certification is a good introduction, and foundation to networking. The exam I got about 10 simulations at the beginning of the exam.
All in all, the test had a few confusing questions, especially the simulations.
I’m glad I took this and look forward to my next certification.
